The short answer

Generate your complete astrocartography map in under three minutes. Enter your birth date, time and city — we calculate all 40 planetary lines and plot them on an interactive 3D globe with real-world city matches.

How the calculator works

  1. Enter your birth date. The calendar accepts any year — historical births are fully supported.
  2. Enter your exact birth time. As precise as possible. Every four minutes shifts your Ascendant and Descendant lines by roughly one degree of longitude.
  3. Search for your birth city. We auto-resolve latitude, longitude and historical time zone (including DST in force on that date).
  4. View your globe. All 40 lines — 10 planets × 4 angles — render on a rotating 3D Earth, color-coded as thrive, neutral or caution zones.
  5. Explore cities. Zoom into any continent to see which cities lie along your most significant lines.

Explore the demo first

Demo mode loads with example charts. Create your personal chart when you want your own birth data, saved map and city readings.

What you get

How accurate is the calculator?

Natal Navigator uses the open-source astronomy-engine library, the same engine used by planetarium software and astronomical research tools. Planetary positions are computed to sub-arcsecond precision. The Ascendant and Descendant use an analytical solver rather than brute-force approximation, so our lines are as geometrically exact as the input birth time allows.

This means the only source of uncertainty in your personal map is the accuracy of your birth time. A certified birth certificate usually lists the minute; some list the hour only, in which case results should be treated as approximate.

Frequently asked questions

What does the astrocartography calculator cost?

You can explore the demo globe with example charts first. A personal 40-line astrocartography map with your real birth data is available for a one-time payment of €9.99.

How accurate is the calculator?

We use the astronomy-engine library, trusted by planetarium software, for sub-arcsecond planetary position accuracy. The precision of your personal lines then depends on how accurate your birth time is.

Do I need to create an account?

You can explore the demo globe with example charts. Creating your personal chart requires an account so your map can be saved and revisited across devices.

Does the calculator work on mobile?

Yes. The globe is built to be responsive and supports touch gestures for rotation and zoom on any modern mobile browser.

What data do I need to enter?

Three inputs: your date of birth, your exact time of birth, and your birth city. Everything else — time zone, coordinates, planetary positions, line paths — is resolved automatically.

What if I don’t know my exact birth time?

You can still run the calculator, but be aware: the MC/IC lines move about 15 degrees of longitude per hour of time difference, and ASC/DC can move even faster near the poles. Treat the output as directional rather than precise.

Is my birth data stored?

Birth data linked to your account is stored securely and encrypted at rest. Demo-mode input is never persisted. You can delete your account and its data at any time.
